Es Deux – Goth Folk Project

The Es Deux Project was the result of a serendipitous meeting between India and Fabrizio Sartini, a One Man Band /Acoustic Guitar Player from Rome.

His experience with Folk and Country and hers with Gothic Rock, immediately made the challenge before them clear – to bring together the best of these two musical worlds.

Exploring the darkest part of Pop, Soul and Rock in a Goth Folk sound even in new songs and covers.

“Roots&Bones” is the first cover CD by Italian Dark Folk Duet Es Deux.

It was especially created in anticipation of upcoming Goth Folk original material soon to be released.

These cover songs are quite faithful to the original, as in the case of “Ghosttown” or “Goodnight Moon”. Some have an original spin, such as “Hit the Road” and “Lost on You”.Others are simply revisited, such as “Personal Jesus” or “Zombie”.

“Roots&Bones” was recorded live for a true concert listening experience.

Instrumentation: Two voices, Bass Guitar, Acoustic Guitar, Ocean Drums, Ethnic Percussion, Loop Station and Pedal Drums…..
